Pros: |
“I always liked driving and really love my customers. Even the ones who don’t always do a great job wrapping their packages. But they’re like family. I was proud, and so were they, when I won Contractor of the Month one time. But I never got the parking space or the picture that went with the award.” |
Cons: |
“I haven’t had a vacation since ’01 and that’s a real problem being a single parent. You’d think a contractor could be more flexible with things like doctor’s visits for your daughter, but it’s a nightmare trying to balance my daughter and my route, even though I’m working late every day, delivering about 2000 pieces a week, and having to have my elderly dad take care of a lot of child care. It sure wasn’t supposed to be this way. I joined the Marines because I believe in fighting for the American way of life but never thought I’d have to go to court to fight for my rights as an American worker.” |
One Wish: |
To be the best father possible to Cayla, and to have the time necessary to make that happen. |
